Terms of service

Last updated: 21 October 2026.

These terms form an agreement between SIA “KpxData”, registration number 40203405472, registered address Lielvārdes iela 103 - 61, Rīga, LV-1084, Latvia (“PingVo”, “we”, “us”), and the organisation that creates a PingVo account (“you”, “the customer”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you accept on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

PingVo is offered to businesses and other organisations only, not to consumers. Where you have signed a separate written agreement with us (for example an Enterprise agreement), that agreement prevails over these terms where the two conflict.

1. The service

PingVo is a monitoring service that periodically places test calls and signalling probes to phone numbers and SIP routes you nominate, evaluates whether they connect and carry the expected audio, and notifies you when it detects a confirmed failure.

PingVo is a monitoring tool. It is not a telephony provider, a PBX, a call-recording platform, or an emergency service, and it does not carry or terminate your production traffic. Its results indicate what our tests observed; they are not a guarantee that your numbers are, or are not, reachable for every caller.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate account details and keep them current. You are responsible for keeping credentials, API keys and agent enrolment tokens confidential, for the activity of every user you invite, and for telling us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Numbers you may monitor and acceptable use

You may only ask PingVo to call numbers and routes that you own, operate, or are expressly authorised by their owner to test. We may ask you to demonstrate that authorisation before or during monitoring. You must not use the service to:

  • call emergency numbers (such as 112 or 911), or any number you are not authorised to test;
  • place unsolicited, nuisance, harassing or fraudulent calls, or generate traffic intended to earn revenue from call termination;
  • load-test or disrupt third-party networks or services;
  • breach any law, including telecommunications, privacy and call-recording rules applicable to the numbers you monitor;
  • attempt to access other customers' data, circumvent usage limits, or probe, scan or reverse-engineer the service beyond what is needed for normal use.

You are responsible for any charges your own carrier or provider applies to calls PingVo places to your numbers (for example on freephone or premium numbers), and for any notice your callers or staff are entitled to about test calls or recorded audio.

The free SIP OPTIONS check. Anyone may use the free check at /tools/sip-options-check without an account, on these conditions:

  • use it only against servers you operate or are authorised to test;
  • do not use it to scan networks, to load-test, or to get round its limits, for example by rotating addresses or automating the form;
  • we may block any requester or destination, and may withdraw the check at any time without notice.

To report abuse, or to have a server you operate excluded from the check, email contact@pingvo.cloud.

4. Customer-hosted agents

If you run a PingVo agent in your own network, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and run it solely to use the service during your subscription. You are responsible for the host it runs on, its network access and its updates. The agent connects outbound to PingVo only; you must not modify it to impersonate another agent or customer.

5. Trial and plans

New accounts begin with a 14-day trial that includes the features described on the pricing page, within the trial's limits. No payment details are required to start a trial and no charge is made during it.

When the trial ends without an upgrade, the account moves to the Free plan automatically. Data and configuration are retained; numbers and features beyond the Free plan's limits are paused rather than deleted, and resume when the account is upgraded. We may change the features and limits of the Free plan, and may withdraw it with reasonable notice.

6. Fees, billing and taxes

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, at the prices shown on the pricing page or in your order. Fees are based on the number of monitored numbers configured on the account; when that number changes during a billing period, the change is prorated. You can review invoices, update payment details and change or cancel your plan from Settings → Billing.

Prices are exclusive of VAT and other applicable taxes, which are added where required. If you are a VAT-registered business in another EU member state, give us a valid EU VAT identification number; where the conditions for it are met, the reverse-charge mechanism applies and we invoice without Latvian VAT. Until you provide one, we invoice on the basis that it does not apply.

If a payment fails, we will notify you and allow a grace period to update your payment method. If payment is still not made, the subscription may be cancelled and monitoring paused. Except where required by law, fees already paid are not refundable.

We may change prices for future billing periods by giving account administrators at least 30 days' notice. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

7. Your data

You retain all rights in the data you provide and the monitoring data generated for your account. You grant us the rights needed to host, process and display that data solely to provide, secure and support the service. We process personal data as described in the privacy policy; for monitoring data we act as your processor, and a data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is available on request.

Test results, incidents and captured audio are retained for the periods stated in the privacy policy and deleted automatically after that. You can export your data while your account is active, including while a cancelled account remains accessible read-only.

8. Availability and support

We aim to keep the service continuously available but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Monitoring depends on third-party carriers, networks and cloud providers outside our control, and a test may be missed, delayed, or produce a false result as a result. We may perform maintenance, preferably outside business hours. Support is provided by email at [email protected]. Service levels apply only where agreed in a separate written agreement.

9. Intellectual property

The service, the agent software, and all related materials remain the property of PingVo and its licensors. Apart from the rights expressly granted in these terms, no rights are transferred to you. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

10. Disclaimer

Except as expressly stated in these terms, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we disclaim all other warranties to the extent permitted by law, including fitness for a particular purpose and that the service will detect every fault.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill — including loss arising from a fault that the service failed to detect or reported late. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in that period, or EUR 100 if you are on the Free plan or a trial.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Your responsibility for misuse

You will compensate us for reasonable losses, costs and third-party claims arising from your breach of section 3, including monitoring numbers you were not authorised to call.

13. Suspension and termination

You may cancel a paid plan at any time from Settings → Billing, and close your account by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate an account immediately where it breaches section 3, puts the service or other customers at risk, or where required by law; for other material breaches we will give notice and a reasonable chance to remedy them first. On termination your right to use the service ends and your data is deleted in line with the privacy policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to account administrators at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, you may cancel before then.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of the Republic of Latvia, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
